Apart from being printed on different papers, and with different perforations, all of the stamps differed slightly in their color from one printing to another. 11½ x 11 HALF-CENT STAMP is printed in green and turquoise-blue, but appears as dark blue and green-blue on the perf. Also, the top value FIVE DOLLAR STAMP in the original perf.
11½ x 11 set is green and violet, and appears as olive-green and slate-violet on the perf.
